Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils to relieve pain, care for the skin, alleviate tension and fatigue, and to invigorate the entire body. Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts that can affect mood, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation. The essential oils can be added to the massage oil or cream and massaged into the skin. They can also be inhaled directly or through a diffuser.
When applied topically, essential oils are able to penetrate into the blood stream because of their small molecular structure. When inhaled, they work on the brain and nervous system through stimulation of the olfactory nerves for psychological and physical well-being. We only use the purest organic essential oils from Young Living.
