Gentle Hatha Yoga
In this session, I discuss the primary knowledge of Yoga. I will explain the what, why, when, and how of Yoga... these questions are common for newbies in the Yoga community. This session is very gentle on the body. For participants who are new to Yoga, I help them to take the first steps towards making their body flexible enough to do Yoga poses.
Chakra realignment and Meditation
Chakra Meditation consists of a set of relaxation techniques focused on bringing balance, relaxation, and well-being to the Chakras. Learn how to align your own energies to achieve a deeper meditation and improve everyday energy in your life. Understand the location and placement of Chakra energy centers in the body. We’ll discuss the colors and an explanation of Chakra, as well as which Yoga poses will help you to improve your Chakra energy.
8-Fold Path Practice (4 Sessions)
The guide to the end of pain, the noble eightfold path, is found within the fourth noble reality. Moral behavior, mental restraint, and knowledge are the three basic elements of Buddhist meditation, which groups the eight sections of the road to liberation together. In nearly all of his discourses, the Buddha taught the eightfold way, and his instructions are as simple and realistic today as they were when he first gave them.
Yoga Sutras (3 Sessions)
Sutra literally means “Thread”. In this practice-based workshop, we’ll ponder on Patanjali’s core theory on the cause and end of human suffering. Most importantly, throughout the duration of the class you’ll strengthen your spiritual relationship with your mind and body, connecting it all through your Yoga practice. The Sutras can help you remember, and implement, the spiritual practices you use to silence the mind and look within. We will explore both a specific meditation practice and a general guideline for spiritual life.
Sound Therapy (Workshop)
For many of us, relaxation means spacing out in front of the TV at the end of a stressful day. But this does little to reduce the damaging effects of stress. To effectively deal with stress, we need to activate the body's natural relaxation response. To bring your nervous system back into balance, we can use Sound Therapy, which can help to pump the brakes on stress and bring your body and mind into a state of equilibrium. In addition to its calming physical effects, the relaxing therapy response also increases energy and focus, relieves aches and pains, and boosts motivation and productivity. There are two types of Sound Therapy for Private Sessions
Vibrational Sound Therapy
During a Vibrational Sound Therapy session, the therapeutic singing bowls are placed directly on the client’s body. The bowls come in a variety of sizes and weights that can be used to provide direct vibrational therapy. The different bowls are used on and near the body in a number of ways. The variety helps us customize each session for our clients, to provide the most comfortable and relaxing experience.
